January Lovebert ━━✫・*。

I had plans to publish more posts this month but I was too carried away with Skyrim and modding to actually post. January has been a good month for modding. I've made many new scripts and scenes. Yes, very ♡Nelbert♡ related. Now I'm going to load up Skyrim and enjoy some Nelbert time. (♡^ー^♡)

Skyrim's 8th anniversary was last week. 🎉🍭✨
Wow, I've been playing, making mods, and modding Skyrim since it was released in 2011!

While I love Morrowind and Oblivion, (Oblivion was my first TES game)
my heart seems to belong to Skyrim.

I have so much fun making mods; learning new ways to do things, scripting, adding to and enhancing  Nelbert, ideas springing to life, exploring, questing, discovering, roleplaying.
I love love love it. I adore my RP of Nel and Hubert. I'm lovingly addicted and inspired. (*^-^*)♡

In between playing Skyrim, I'm still making content for Nelbert. It's definitely one of my favourite hobbies. I adore Hubert and Nel. They're very important characters and they mean a lot to me. 🌺

January Scripting ━━✫・*。

The month of January had me writing a lot of scripts. It's been intense but I've made a lot of progress (of course Nelbert related).
The weather here is freezing cold.The wind sounds like it's screaming.

I always say I'm going to post more and then I get carried away so much that I forget to sign in and  publish something. I'm sorry.

Hubert and Nel are doing good. I'm 200 hours into my save game! So stable as well. Nelbert are having lots of fun. My RP is going very well. I've been RPing Nelbert for so long.
It feels like forever. It's a lovely thing. ♡
I love my Hubert and Nel. My blog needs more Nelbert stuff. (^ー^)☆*°

Modding and Musings ━━✫・*。

Each time I'm about to post I end up opening the CK and then forget about publishing a blog post. I've been doing a lot of scripting and I have been playing quite a bit of Skyrim with Hubert and Nel aka: Nelbert. Saphir too! Can't forget the huskymuffin! (☆^ー^☆)

I have a lot of new screenshots but I've been so bad at not sharing them. I want to post some soon.

I just finished making a quest that allows Saphir to change into two variations of doggy armor via dialogue.

Four scripts and they work nicely! I thought it was a lovely idea. ☆*°

I spent this morning modding, trying some new things, and it went well. I am happy with the results! Hubert related, of course! A scripted Scene! It's a lovely thing. o(〃＾▽＾〃)o

It feels like autumn. I love the smell of the air. This is my favourite time of year, well, winter too because I love the snow!

I've also been enjoying Ohgr's latest album, Tricks which came out in late June of this year.  
It's good modding music too. ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Scripting Week ━━✫・*。

This past week was a good week for scripting. I went from a dozen scripts to over thirty scripts for my Hubert. I accomplished a lot! (✿◠‿◠)

Illy's High Quality Fire Audio is a must have mod if you love the sound of cracking fire like I do.
It's a really beautiful mod. I recommend it.

A Trip Down Memory Lane in Skingrad ━━✫・*。

I loaded up Oblivion the other morning and visited one of the first mods I made.
An underground home located in Skingrad. I remember wanting to make a romantic themed castle with candles, roses, cream coloured curtains, and white furniture.
It may sound silly but I remember being so passionate about it.

Over the years I learned a lot about modding. I still enjoy figuring things out and making magic happen. I love playing and modding. It's one of my favourite hobbies for sure! At the moment I'm still working on Skyrim with making quests for Hubert. Right now he has over ten quests! Maybe more, I need to count them again. I've learned a lot about scripting, dialogue, aliases, properties, triggers, events... it's awesome to see your work in motion!

In between my quest modding I'm playing Vigilant for the third time.
Nelbert are having an epic adventure once again. ♡

Late Night Napping Gone Wrong ━━✫・*。

I woke up from a late nap last night when I looked at my monitor and it was like a double vision technicolor nightmare. I've had no PC issues whatsoever and yet somehow there were two Skyrims when I loaded task manager. I'm not sure what happened exactly... I was testing my mod stuff pretty late and got sleepy, so maybe I overloaded something. I'm still not sure. After a quick reboot all seemed normal, including temperatures. Hmm. I'm going to pick up a new videocard soon. I've had the 970 for a while and it's pretty dated at this point and not really the best card. I don't think it's my card that's failing though, I've been there before and I certainly know the looks of it, but it was creepy.

Not much has been happening. Modding? Yes! I've been playing around with making different versions of Hubert. It's fun and Hubert is my favourite character so it's easy to lose time modding him. My favourite Hubert will always be his original silver haired self... but I do love trying new hairstyles on him and taking screenshots. It's relaxing and always makes me smile and feel good.

I need to get back to the quests and scripts I was working on. I thought a little break was a good idea, and of course my break involved more Hubert and he's reminding me to get back to those quests! *:ﾟ*｡⋆ฺ(*´◡`)

Hubert Ferrier, My Love, My Muse ━━✫・*。

I'm going to get a domain name for this blog. Soonish.

Below is a screenshot I took of my one and only Hubert Ferrier. I love him so much. I have modded him heavily and by that I mean I have added quests, written scripts, lots of voiced dialogue and interaction, animation based events too (among other things because there's a lot). I feel kind of geeky writing that because of how difficult some of this was but I wanted to make Hubert personal for me. I wanted a copy that had my fingerprint on it, so to speak. 

I learned a lot, and because of Hubert I was able to tackle some interesting code too and came out victorious. 
I wasn't actively modding for a while until Hubert reinvigorated me. He became my muse and modding came back to me! I wanted to make my husband more interesting and interactive. I love his look and backstory immensely, so I wanted him to have more.
My version of Hubert is not public.
I respect Hubert's original mod author but also, I wanted to make it so that Hubert was special to me, personal. I wanted my own unique version of Hubert that was separate from the one on the Nexus.♡
My husbando is the only one I want to travel and be with during my gameplay, so it made sense to add more to my Hubert. I'm in for the long haul when I roleplay.  (*⁰▿⁰*)

I normally make my own followers but when Hubert came along, I fell in love with him, and thus, I wanted to have my own unique Hubert. As someone who mods this was very important to me.

I just wanted to write a post and actually upload a photo too! I can get so apprehensive.
Forgive me if my writing is all over the place. I was in the hospital last night 
(I'm healthy - thankfully) so my mind is a bit scattered but I'm feeling good today.

First Post ━━✫・*。

I keep meaning to post and then I don't.
It's been a while since I had a blog. I'm not so sure about this layout but it's simple enough.
I have a lot to write about, but at the moment I'm just going to keep this brief.
 
I love modding. It's a pretty big hobby of mine.
I have modded games such as Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas, and of course, Skyrim.
I love trying and testing mods, making mods, taking screenshots, and learning new things. I'm of the mindset that if you want something in your game and you can't find a mod for it, then learn to mod it yourself. I like some of the challenges modding brings but it can also be frustrating when you hit a snag... so it's great to get that feeling of reward when you get it right. ~(˘▾˘)~

I enjoy playing around in Photoshop and mashing up textures, blending away seams whenever possible.

Recently I started scripting and have had my share of highs and lows but I won't forget the feeling of joy when I accomplished my first working script.
